Sharand and Shalini's wedding was definitly an international affair. Sharands family are from Durban. Shalini's family are originally from Zimbabwe and have now immigrated to Singapore. But Sharand and Shalini live in London. Guests flew from all over the world to be here and share this beautiful 3 day affair at the Asara Wine Farm in Stellenbosch.
Magdel got dressed at the gorgeous Oceans Eleven Guesthouse in Hermanus. The rooms are beautiful and they all have the best sea views.
The ceremony and reception was held at La Vierge. The whole venue has breathtaking views of the Hemel en Aarde valley.
After the ceremony we were spoilt for choice when it came to photographs. We had the fynbos, the vineyards, gravel roads and the sea. This venue is definitly a photographers dream. Magdel and Dean just rounded it all off. The camera loved Magdel and we really had an awesome shoot.
I met Anke and Marcel 2 years ago when they booked me to photograph their wedding, so it has been absolute ages waiting for their wedding. It was definitly worth the wait. Anke looked beautiful, she reminded me of royalty so very regal. Her make up and hair was done by Ellma Burden. Anke got ready with her bridesmaids at Greenville Guesthouse in Durbanville. Finding a beautiful place to get ready in makes such a difference. Besides your photographs looking beautiful, it makes you feel very pampered. You can also get to use it for your honeymoon night.
Once all the girls were ready, we were off to Eensgezind for the ceremony and reception. It was my first time at this venue and the food was amazing. The staff and management were so effecient and took care of everything and went above and beyond.
